The Outfit I Literally Cannot Stop Wearing!

Hey guys!

It’s been a while, but it feels good to sit down and write a post! I’ll do a longer post with everything and a full catch up but I took a mini break from blogging & went semi off the radar. Taking time off for the holidays was def necessary.

We have had a ton of travels in the past 2ish weeks with a whole week spent in Los Angeles and a full one spent in New York.

I got back from New York on Sunday night & am missing it fiercely! We really had a great time there & it was nice to experience the seasons. Our hotel room looked right out into Central Park and seeing the ombré of red, yellow, & orange was something else. It truly felt like fall!

Over Black Friday, I picked up an outfit that I really can’t get enough of that I wanted to share here!

Long story short, I was on a MAJOR hunt for a fuzzy pink sweater. It channels the 90’s & y2k in all the right way. After lots of searching, I found the perfect one from Express. It has a throwback feel with all the right modern touches!

It’s a cowl neck fuzzy pink sweater with kimono sleeves. It’s cozy af & super easy to dress up & down. I also love the white colour it comes in too. I wore this out to a nice dinner at Delmonico’s {the first fine dining restaurant in America! highly recc when in New York, so good. More on this later but E & I had one of the best dates ever here} & I wore it with leggings & fuzzy socks around the hotel to lounge.

Speaking of leggings, when I got this, I scoured Express for matching bottoms. In my head, I was picturing it with leather leggings {spanx – if we are being specific}… & then I came across the CUTEST pair of leggings. Seriously, they’re my fave pair in my closet right now.

Basically, they’re high quality black leggings, with a light pink center seam… & the best part? It has a front slit where you can show off your shoes!

I wore it with these dope grommet boots but love the idea of wearing it with combat boots. I love the contrast of feminine & edgy. They’d also be super cute with neon pink barbie heels or white! I am also loving the idea of pairing them with PLAID heels. Get a lil extra with it.

Here, I’m wearing it wtih a Milly coat from years back- in fact, fun story about this coat… YEARS ago (2012), I saw it here on Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl and had to have it. I scoured the internet for it but it was sold out everywhere.

I tabled the idea back in 2012 until 5 years later this summer when I was walking around the Marina with a girlfriend of mineand we passed a consignment store. FRONT & CENTER, there it was in my size!! I couldn’t buy it fast enough. I’ve been dying to wear it around Central Park and well, looks like dreams do come true after all 😉

I’ve also worn this with this moto jacket {ps it’s SO SO SO SOFT!!!!} with buckle details all over too so again, go as feminine or edgy as you want with this.

Anyways, I had to share since I’ve had it on repeat… so get ready to see this often on the ‘gram. Speaking of instagram, I have a new vsco filter coming your way next week!!

While we are on the topic of 90’s / y2k feels, I am MAJORLY on the hunt for a black velvet or velour turtleneck. I saw this one on Shania Twain as I was scouring Pinterest & I kinda need it. If you see one, holla at your girl! Follow me on Pinterest here!

Hope you’re digging this outfit as much as I am!! See ya Friday! xx Shannon
